Wind noise can ruin a long drive, especially with a roof rack up top. These aerodynamic, elliptical crossbars cut through the air smoothly, and the built-in rubberized Vortex strips in the top channels break up airflow to keep things quiet. The strips also seal the channels against dirt and give your cargo a cushioned, slip-resistant base. You don’t need to add a fairing or modify anything—this design keeps drag and whistling to a minimum right out of the box.

No bulky overhang or tall towers here—the flush StealthBar setup sits just 1-3/8" above the factory side rails for an ultra-low profile. The bars terminate cleanly at the legs, giving the rack a seamless, from-the-factory style that doesn’t distract from your roofline. The arched aluminum bars follow the curve of your roof for a balanced, finished look that still gives you a sturdy platform for hauling gear.

Each crossbar is made of structural-grade anodized aluminum with an internal H-shaped extrusion for strength without excess weight. The UV-treated, glass-reinforced nylon legs hold up to weather and cargo stress season after season. With a rack weight capacity of 176 lbs—always observing your vehicle’s maximum roof load—you can trust it to handle heavy kayaks, luggage boxes, or camping gear without flexing or rusting.

The built-in C-channels let you mount channel-style carriers like bike racks, ski holders, or watersport carriers directly into the bar tops. The three-piece Vortex strips are easy to remove and trim around mounting hardware so you can keep the channels closed and quiet everywhere else. If you already have clamp-on accessories, those fit too—the rubber strips cushion them and prevent slipping so you can mix and match setups for any trip.

Each leg includes locking covers that secure both the crossbars to your side rails and any channel-mounted accessories to the bars themselves. All locks are keyed alike for convenience. Once everything’s tightened down and locked in place, your rack stays put whether you’re parked overnight at a trailhead or loading up for another weekend away.

Works great , a bit noisy on some heavy wind days but nothing too crazy , changing the location slightly seem to have helped

That roof racks look great on your Outback Wilderness, Kevin! I would love to see a photo of your roof box installed once you get the chance.

Love the look of the vehicle as a whole! The bars certainly blend right in and look factory! So good to know it was a perfect fit for the '25 Outback Wagon, too! What will be going up there on the bars?
